Bioidentical Hormones
Instead of traditional methods like pills and creams, MedWell uses BioTE bioidentical hormone plant based pellets and inserts them right underneath the skin. This method slowly releases the exact amount of bioidentical hormones you body needs. We use two hormones Testosterone and Estradiol, they are the most common hormones that decrease naturally as we age.
Before the procedure, blood hormone levels will be tested. We then analyze to find the perfect amount of bioidentical hormone your body needs. The procedure can take up to 20 minutes. Once the area is numb after using local anesthetic, a small incision (no bigger than a grain of rice) is made right above the buttock and the pellets are inserted. The number of pellets inserted vary based on blood test results.
